Meet Robyn Steward, the star of this episode of our 14th Wandsworth Creative Series.
Her Journey is so inspirational and she is a multitalented artist as a musician, author and broadcaster. Robyn had commissions from Battersea Arts Centre (Brewing in Battersea) as well as Drake music. She also plays at gigs ranging from large venues like Scala and small record shops like Sister Midnight Records in Deptford. She also put on a night at Cafe OTO called “ Robyn’s Rocket”. Robyn is a Heart N Soul artist which means Heart N Soul support her development.
Robyn also do performance and workshops in schools and conferences often using music tech. Robyn never let her various disabilities stopped her achieving her dreams. She won the 2015 Autism Professional Award, was voted in the top 100 of Britain’s most influential disabled people in 2018 and was a learning disability and autism leader in 2019.
